How to get here with your own car

Due to traffic regulations in Granada, arriving by car is very complicated. From 8:00 to 22:00 h, only authorized vehicles are allowed to circulate along the city center. Furthermore, access to “El Albayzín” is controlled by automatic bollards that restrict access from Monday to Thursday between 11:00-14:00h and 20:00 -24:00h. From Friday to Sunday this restriction takes place between 11:00-14:00h and 20:00-05:00h. The only way of avoiding these restrictions is to take the old road to Murcia. To do this, you must take exit Méndez Núñez from the circumvallation road (see map).
It is also very difficult to park in “El Albayzín” because most of the parking areas are for residents only. We suggest you park your car as soon as you get into the city, and take a taxi or a bus from there.
